For the few volunteers who regularly make their way there, the howls and growls have become familiar. But for many Carolinians, the existence of the shelter remains a complete mystery.
As we celebrate the International Dog Day this month, Today’s Carolinian takes a closer look at the shelter which the dogs call home, as well as the people and the organization working behind the scenes for their welfare. Let us celebrate this day by learning more about them, supporting Pawrolinian, and helping the people who care for them. Together, we can be part of a cause that works toward a better life for the animals we share our campus with.
